“KING OF POP” DEBUTS AT MGM GRAND DETROIT

MGM Grand Detroit announced today the completed installation of the much anticipated “Michael Jackson: King of Pop” penny slot by Bally Technologies. The entertainment destination was the first metro Detroit casino to unveil the new digital reel machine.
“Michael Jackson: King of Pop” pipes six original songs and videos by the music legend through its built-in 5.1 surround sound system to entertain players. Featured hits include “Billie Jean,”
“Dirty Diana,” “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Beat It” and “Bad.”
The 10-foot machine also showcases eye-catching images of Michael Jackson on the cabinet and at the top on 18-inch monitors. His likeness is also displayed on a 22-inch high-definition touch screen and 32-inch vertical tower monitor.
A dynamic sensory experience is created at each of four stations for four players.

When players hit specific reel combinations, Michael Jackson’s image moonwalks across the screen to “Bad.” The singer’s iconic white sequin glove, sunglasses, hat and dancing kicks also float across screens during play to the delight of players.
